Nine Elms Point is an outstanding zone 1 development which will deliver 648 homes and form part of the largest regeneration project ever undertaken in London.
Located in this key London development area, Nine Elms Point is an outstanding zone 1 development that will ultimately deliver 648 homes. It forms part of the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area, which is the largest regeneration project ever undertaken in London. In total, the area will deliver 20,000 new homes, thousands of new retail spaces and major improvements to existing transport infrastructure.
Nine Elms Point is situated in one of the most convenient locations within the Nine Elms area, with two bus stops immediately in front of the development and Vauxhall station a 5-minute walk away. This means that the City, Canary Wharf and West End can all be reached in less than 30 minutes. Residents will also be able to use a private entrance to Nine Elms tube station, which is set to open in 2020.
The development comprises three towers of 18, 27 and 37 stories respectively, with a further four low-rise buildings, all of which are connected by landscaped gardens. This volume allows for a broad range of apartment types, in a mix of one to four bedrooms, and the distinctive, metallic facades of the towers are a reference to Banham lock makers who were based in the area.
An 83,088 sq ft flagship Sainsbury’s superstore provides a base for part of the development, and both residents and the public will benefit from a linear park stretching the entire length of Nine Elms, along with new public squares, footpaths and cycle lanes.
